What Is the GDP Growth Rate?
The GDP growth rate is the percentage change in the real (inflation-adjusted) value of goods and services produced in a country relative to the same quarter of the previous year. A positive value shows the economy is growing, a negative value that it is contracting.
Quarterly and Annual Growth
For each quarter TurkStat reports growth both relative to the same quarter of the previous year (annual) and relative to the previous quarter (seasonally and calendar adjusted). This page is based on annual (YoY) growth.
