Fibonacci levels are probability zones, not exact signals. This tool is for educational purposes and is not investment advice.
Fibonacci levels are technical-analysis tools used to identify a trend's correction (retracement) and target (extension) zones. This calculator derives the classic Fibonacci ratios (23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, 76.4%) from the high and low you enter.
In an uptrend, retracements are measured down from the high; in a downtrend, up from the low. The "Custom" field is the origin from which extensions are projected (usually where the corrective wave ends). Pick a crypto, currency or gold asset to auto-fill the 24-hour high/low.
What Is Fibonacci Retracement?
Retracement levels show how far a trend may correct. In an uptrend, price often resumes the trend after pulling back 38.2%, 50% or 61.8% of the prior move. The 61.8% level (the "golden ratio") is the most-watched; reactions from these zones are treated as support/resistance.
Fibonacci Extension Levels
Extension levels project price targets once a trend resumes. The most-used extensions are 138.2%, 161.8%, 200% and 261.8%. After a retracement completes, these ratios are marked as target zones measured from the projection (custom) point.
How to Use the Levels
Fibonacci levels are probable reaction zones, not precise buy/sell signals. Use them together with other tools (volume, trend lines, horizontal support/resistance). This tool is for education and is not investment advice.
