What Is the Official Gold Price?
Official gold prices are the average reference values published monthly by the CBRT. Bullion gold is in TL per gram, Cumhuriyet and Reşat coins in TL per piece, and London ounce gold in USD per ounce. These series differ from the live market price; they are used for long-term comparison and as an official reference.
