Gold Converter — Gram, Quarter, Half Calculation
Instantly calculate how many grams or quarter gold coins your TRY is worth, or the current TRY value of a given number of coin gold pieces.
This tool converts between gold types using live Grand Bazaar free-market prices. Gram gold, quarter gold, half gold, full gold and classic coin gold all in one table.
Enter your TRY amount → see how many pieces/grams you can buy at the selling price for every gold type. The crafting premium (workmanship) is included in the real market price.
How to Use the Gold Converter?
Type the amount you want into the TRY amount box. The table shows how many pieces/grams you can buy at today's selling price for each gold type. It also works in reverse: enter a gold quantity to see the TRY value of a given number of coin gold pieces.
Which Price Is Used?
The conversion is based on the jeweler's SELLING price (what you pay when buying). Cashing out (what you receive when selling) is done at the BUYING price; the spread (buy-sell difference) is the jeweler's margin.
Coin Gold Gram Equivalent
New-date Republic coins contain approximately: quarter 1.75 g, half 3.5 g, full 7 g, gremse 17.5 g, five-piece 35 g of pure gold. Old-date (Y-prefix) coins have the same pure gold ratio; the price difference is the crafting premium.
